Based on the mathematical models proposed in literatures for both inside an
d outside of the furnace tubes by using both the static and dynamic experim
ental data, a simulation software for steady-state processes which can pred
ict the combustion in chamber, the radiation of flue gases and its turbulen
t flow as well as the coking reaction, equilibrium evaporation and two-phas
e flow and heat transfer of residual oils in tubes is developed. Then, the
distribution of process parameters along the tubes, such as residual oil re
sidence time, thermal conversion fraction and coking rate in tubes, etc can
be obtained.
