Abstract
The microscopic effective pairing interaction in the S-1(0)-channel is inve stigated fur two different values of the chemical potential mu starting fro m the separable form of the Paris NN-potential. It is shown that, within a good accuracy, this effective interaction can be approximated by the off-sh ell free T-matrix taken at the negative energy E = 2 mu.
