Abstract
For A = {a(1), a(2), ...} subset of N, let p(A)(n) denote the number of par titions of n into a's and let q(A)(n) denote the number of partitions of n into distinct a's. The asymptotic behaviour of the quotient log p(A) (n)/lo g q(A) (n) is studied.
