Abstract
in case of Canine Distemper suspicion, a constructive choice for specific c omplementary tests is essential to obtain the most reliable diagnosis. Ther efore, it is necessary to take into account the evolution of the disease as well as the vaccinal status of animal. According to these elements, we will choose an association of different met hods : antibodies research or kinetics on blood or cerebrospinal fluid (CSF ) samples, research of specific inclusion bodies from different smears. Acc ording to these results, other tests will be necessary to strengthen or con firm the diagnosis : immunocytology, Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reacton (RT-PCR) or antibodies research on CSF samples.
