Abstract
The solution of natural porphyrins of the protoporphyrin-IX group and their zinc metallocomplexes in mixed benzene-dimethyl formam ide, benzene-di met hylsulfoxide, and benzene-pyridine solvents was studied calorimetrically at 298.15 K in the whole composition range. The principal patterns of variati ons in the enthalpy characteristics of porphyrin-electron donor solvent int eractions depending on the structure of the porphyrin, the electronic struc ture of the metal ion, and the composition of the mixed solvent were determ ined.
