Abstract
Various approaches are used to calculate the average ionic activity coeffic ients in the ionite phase and the ion exchange constants for the tryptophan -water-AV-17-2P (a high-basicity anionite in the OH-form) system. The appli cability of methods proposed by E.M. Kuznetsova and V.S. Soldatov is demons trated for a noncomplicated ion exchange.
