Multidimensional statistical methods (the method of main components and reg
ression analysis) were used to construct phenomenological models for the de
pendence of the distribution constants Kd and the diffusion coefficients D
for amino acids in the ionite phase on various factors, such as the tempera
ture, pH, types of the amino acid and ionite, and ionic form of the ionite.
An analysis of these models makes it possible to predict the selectivity o
f the ion-exchange sorption of amino acids from mixtures on ionites.
