Abstract
The adsorption of ethanol and butanol on activated carbon from its binary s olutions in n-hexane, propanol, and ethyl acetate was studied. The thermody namic functions of the adsorption systems were calculated. It was establish ed that different mechanisms of the interaction of the components of the mi xtures with the adsorbent are operative.
