Abstract
The high-temperature oxidation and degradation behavior has been analyzed f or the outward-diffusion type aluminide coating on Go-base superalloys, and the relationship between the oxidation and life has been deduced for those coatings. Using the obtained relationship formula, the high-temperature li fe of these coatings can be evaluated through a simple and convenient addit ional experiment. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A.
