The most reliable values of the main thermodynamic parameters of C-60 and C
-70 fullerenes are recommended based on analysis of published data and auth
or's calculations. These parameters include enthalpies of formation in the
solid and gaseous states, saturated vapour pressures, enthalpies of sublima
tion, enthalpies of phase transition, heat capacity, entropy in the condens
ed state, and heat capacity and entropy in the ideal gas state. The factors
influencing the results of thermodynamic studies of fullerenes are discuss
ed. Problems of crystal structure determination, PVT dependences and freque
ncies of normal modes of C-60 and C-70 fullerenes are considered, in order
to interpret and correlate the data and to extend them to a wide temperatur
e range.
