Abstract
A case is reported of bilateral internal iliac artery ligation during cesar ean delivery for intractable hemorrhage. Uterine artery Doppler flow veloci ty waveforms were documented before and after the procedure. After the liga tion the uterine arteries could still be visualized in the appropriate anat omic location, and no changes in Doppler flow velocity waveforms were docum ented.
