Abstract
Highly crystalline and uniaxial-oriented PTFE films, nanostructured in one dimension, were used to produce a new kind of macroscopic single-crystallin e state in the ferroelectric copolymer poly[vinylidenefluoride-trifluoroeth ylene]. The mono crystals are built up of regularly stacked crystalline lam ellae of about 100 nm thickness.
