Abstract
Poly[N-(5-carboxyhexyl)pyrrole] coated carbon-fiber electrodes incorporatin g palladium metal were prepared for the electrocatalytic hydrogenation of m ethyl alpha-oxobenzene-acetate, 2-cyclohexen-1-one, and diphenylacetylene i n an ethanol-buffer solution. The reactions using these electrodes proceede d smoothly to give hydrogenated products in good yields.
