Abstract
The aromatic steroid equilenin acetate undergoes regioselective and stereos elective hydroxylation and amidation catalyzed by a manganese porphyrin usi ng iodosobenzene (PhIO) and N-tosyliminophenyliodinane (PhINTs) as the oxyg en and nitrogen donor, respectively.
