Abstract
Trapping of secondary alkyl radicals with tetrathiafulvalenium tetrafluorob orate (TTF+.BF4-) leads to S-alkyltetrathiafulvalenium tetrafluoroborate sa lts; the solvolysis of such salts is critically dependent on the presence o f appropriately sited neighbouring groups.
