Abstract
New 2,7-disubstituted 5-amino-6,8-dicyano-2,3-dihydro-3-oxo thiazolo[3,2-a] pyridines have been prepared. Their cyclization with formamide, nitrous aci d and triethylorthoformate afforded a series of polycyclic heterocycles con taining condensed pyrimidine and triazine rings.
