Abstract
Electrochemical oxidations of 1-tosyl-3-aryl-1,3-diazadihydroazulanones gav e 6-tosyl-3-aryl-1,3-diazadihydroazulanones via migrations of the tosyl gro up. On the other hand, electrochemical reductions of the 1-tosylazulanones afforded 3-aryl-1,3-diazadihydroazulanones through eliminations of the tosy l group.
