Abstract
Two new constituents camarolide (1) and lancamaric acid (4) along with two known compounds oleanonic acid (2) and ursonic acid (3) have been isolated from the aerial parts of Lantana camara Linn. Structures of the new compoun ds have been established as 3-keto-urs-11-en-13 beta(28)-olide (1) and 3,25 -epoxy-3 alpha-ethoxy-olean-12-en-28-oic acid (4) through spectral studies including 1D (H-1-, C-13-NMR) and 2D (COSY-45, NOESY, J-resolved, HMQC and HMBC) NMR.
