The reconstruction of dynamical systems (DSs) from experimental data is inv
estigated. One of the simplest algorithms of reconstructing a rough model s
ystem from the results of measurements of a one-dimensional realization of
self-sustained oscillations is considered. The possibility of reconstructin
g a mathematical description using scalar time series obtained both from te
st experiments with known systems and actual medical-biological experiments
is demonstrated. Separate attention is paid to specific features of a numb
er of signals that have medical-biological origin. A possible application o
f the reconstruction technique to solving the problems of multichannel conf
idential transmission of information is considered.
