A generalized model of planar charged sheets, whose motion is described by
three velocities and one coordinate, is proposed for solving self-consisten
t nonlinear problems of interaction between the electromagnetic field and t
he classical electron medium. For this model, exact relativistic equations
for the sheet motion that take into account the radiation friction force ar
e derived. New analytical results that take into account the sheet interact
ion with its self-radiation field are obtained in the problem of the dynami
cs of a charged sheet in the field of a plane electromagnetic wave and in o
ther problems concerning the interaction of radiation with classical charge
d media.
