Abstract
The dependence of the energy in the generated microwave pulse and generatio n efficiency on the angular dimension of an electron absorber mounted on th e electron grid in a coaxial vircator with a radial-divergent beam is inves tigated. It is shown that the optimal angular dimension is close to 30 degr ees.
