Abstract
A technique is proposed for simulation of the envelope of the signal reflec ted from an object located near the rough sea surface. An analytical expres sion is derived for the correlation function (CF) of fluctuations of the ef fective target area. It is shown that the results of simulation of the refl ection process coincide with the results of in-situ measurements.
