Abstract
In this survey paper we present the natural applications of certain integra l inequalities such as Chebychev's inequality for synchronous and asynchron ous mappings, Holder's inequality and Gruss' and Ostrowski's inequalities f or the celebrated Euler's Beta and Gamma functions. Natural applications de aling with some adaptive quadrature formulae which can be deduced from Ostr owski's inequality are also pointed out.
