Abstract
Using Raman spectroscopy, we found that at a pressure of 28.5 kbar tetrahyd rofuran pentahydrate decomposes to solid tetrahydro-furan and ice; solid te trahydrofuran retains its structure in the pressure range 1 bar-105 kbar.
