Abstract
In the paper a new algorithm to find peaks in two, three and multidimension al spectra, measured in large multidetector gamma-ray arrays, is derived. G iven the dimension in. the algorithm is selective to in-fold coincidence pe aks. It is insensitive to intersections of lower-fold coincidences, hereina fter called ridges.
