Abstract
The study of the reactivity of C6H5CH=NCH2CH2SEt with platinum(II) salts is reported. These studies have established the relative importance of the fa ctors governing the formation of [Pt{C6H4CH=NCH2CH2SEt}Cl], in which the li gand acts as a [C,N,S](-) terdentate group.
