Abstract
The chemical investigation of Ligularia fischeri afforded three new eremoph ilenolides which were identified as 6 beta-methoxy-8 beta-hydroxy-eremophil -7(11)-en-12,8 alpha-olide, ligufischerin, and 6-oxo-8 beta-hydroxy-eremoph il-7(11)-en-12,8 alpha-olide by 1D- and 2D-NMR spectra. In addition, six kn own eremophilenolides were also obtained.
