Abstract
Quantitative determination of urea content oft whole blood is of great inte rest in the health control of animals. Potentiometric methods using enzyme sensors are a faster and accesible alternative to the methods usually used in veterinary laboratories, The paper deals with the use two self-made enzy me sensors for the determination of urea content of whole blood and plasma. The results of the measurements where compared with those obtained by usin g the STAS method for plasma and the analyzer "Reflotron" fbr whole blood. The enzyme sensors can successfully replace these methods of analysis.
