Specific thermodynamic functions obtained previously fi om studies of terna
ry aqueous electrolyte systems with common anion demonstrate the existance
of association phenomena. Taking into account the uncommonly great values o
f the excess functions evaluated for the ternary systems studied comparativ
ely to real systems, structural investigation of these solutions was needed
. Spectra obtained for the studied systems show the specific contribution o
f each added cation and the existence of an intense maximum of absorbtion a
t higher wavelengths, while increasing of adding concentration. The effects
observed are in agreement with previous resurlts from e.m.f. measurements
and might be explained by similitude with the series of hydration energies.
