Abstract
Through the reaction of 3-coumarin carbonyl chloride with KSCN, in acetone, and the addition of some primary aryl amines to 3-coumarinoyl isothiocyana te, we obtained new N-(3-coumarinoyl)-N'-aryl thioureas (scheme 1). The new compounds were characterised by IR, H-1- and C-13-NMR.
