Abstract
The fatigue failure kinetics for welded joints of low-alloyed steel is inve stigated by analyzing the displacement vector field under high-cyclic loadi ng. Failure accumulation in the heat-affected zone at the mesoscale is foun d to possess a multi-stage character that is associated with the formation and evolution of mesostructure deformation and fragmentation.
