Abstract
This work presents an inventory of 14 mite species of the order Gamasida fo und on 40 beetles collected in the Bialowieza National Park (BNP). Mites of the genus Poecilochirus occur more frequently on insects of the genus Nicr ophorus, and mites of the genus Parasitus on beetles of the genus Geotrupes . Iphidosoma fimetarium occurred more commonly on beetles of the genus Cara bus and it was not observed on carnivorous or coprophilic insects. Macroche les glaber was often accompanied by Alliphis siculus. Both species were usu ally detected on beetles of the genus Geotrupes, Nicrophorus and Pterostich us. In the paper included is also information about available literature on the host, on which a given mite has already been found.
