This report summarizes a case of large myxofibroma of the mandible. On the
basis of the clinical appearance, radiographic findings, and biopsy specime
n, the lesion was diagnosed as a myxofibroma. Segmental mandibular resectio
n and immediate reconstruction by vascularized fibular graft were performed
. At the 18-month follow-up there was no evidence of recurrence of the tumo
r, and good functional and aesthetic results were maintained.
