A. Becerra et al., Development of a stable nickel on alumina catalyst for the carbon dioxide reforming of methane., BOL SOC CH, 45(1), 2000, pp. 147-154
Ni (10.6 wt.-%) supported on gamma alumina obtained through a sol-gel techn
ique, and reduced at high temperature (> 1100 K), was found to be an active
and stable catalyst for the carbon dioxide reforming of methane. The catal
yst kept its activity for 100 h or longer at 973 K, giving little coke on t
he catalyst (< 1 w.-%). The measured conversion data were fitted with a pse
udo homogeneous model.
