Abstract
A new allylation reaction of carbonyl compounds using allenes is described; homoallylic alcohols were obtained in moderate to good yields from aryl io dides, allenes and carbonyl compounds and an excellent diastereoselection w as exhibited when 2-hydroxycyclohexanone was employed.
