Abstract
A new high-throughput screening-technique based on IR spectroscopy has been developed for ruthenium catalysed asymmetric transfer-hydrogenation by com paring the reaction rate of the reduction of ketones using (R)- vs. (S)-sec ondary alcohol as the hydrogen donor.
