Abstract
Cl2C[P(O)(OMe)(2)P(O)(OMe)(O(-)Z(+))] selectively reacts with acetyl chlori de to provide a new enzymatically stable heterocyclic bis(bisphosphonate); the structure is confirmed by X-ray crystallography.
