Abstract
The crystal structure of {[NaCr(2,2'-bipy)(ox)(2)](2)[bis(1-pyrazolyl)metha ne]. 2H(2)O}(n) reveals the first 2-D stair-shaped architecture which const ructs a 3-D network via interlayer pi-pi interactions with guest water mole cules present in the cavities.
