Abstract
A three-dimensional analysis of magnetic field and axial coupling of multip ole disk magnets is presented. Based on the Fourier transform, the field, t orque, and force can be obtained by a pair of Fourier transforms, a spatial filtering, and summations The computed results agree well with the results given by the finite element method or experiments.
