Abstract
Based on the use of nominal symbol sequences, an alternative blind multiuse
r detector is proposed for direct sequence code division multiple access (D
S-CDMA) systems. It is shown that the detector can theoretically achieve th
e same performance as that of a linear MMSE detector. Numerical results con
firm the validity of the method.
