Peculiarities of the annual dynamics of microorganisms in Southern Taiga soils

The contrast of the studied soils at the microbiological level is confirmed by the differences in the total amounts of microbial biomass, the peculiar ities of microorganism successions in litter, and by the character of the p rofile distribution of fungus mycelium in their annual dynamics. The type o f substrate is the main factor determining the number of microorganisms in studied soils, and the climatic features of year, season, and soil type fol low in descending order.
