Abstract
An efficient method is derived in this paper to obviate the integral involv ed in the performance analysis of the minimum mean square error (MMSE) dete ctor for direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS/CDMA) systems in fading environments, The new method is shown to significantly reduce the n ecessary computational load for the performance analysis of the MMSE detect or, We then examine the behavior of the MMSE detector in flat Nakagami fadi ng channels.
