Abstract
The reaction of HgBr2 and hexamethyltetramine (hmt) in a mixture of ethanol and water yields the coordination polymer [Hg(hmt)(1/2)Br-2](infinity). Th e skeleton frame of the complex exhibits a novel zeolite Li-A(BW) topologic al structure. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
