It has been demonstrated that classical probabilities, and in particul
ar, the probabilistic Turing machine, can be simulated by combining ch
aos and non-lipschitz dynamics, without utilization of any man-made de
vices (such as random number generators). Self-organizing properties o
f systems coupling simulated and calculated probabilities and their li
nk to quantum computations are discussed. Special attention was focuse
d upon coupled stochastic processes. defined in terms of conditional p
robabilities, for which joint probability does not exist. Simulations
of quantum probabilities are also discussed. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science
