Abstract
A wholly corrugated webs (WCW) H-beam has been rolled successfully in Yansh an University, China. The key component of the hot rolling technique of an H-beam with WCW is the profile design for the gear-shape rolls of the unive rsal finishing stand. In this paper, according to the basic law of tooth ro ll working, the roll profile curve equation has been determined. (C) 2000 E lsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
