Abstract
With the aid of some symplectic transformations, the existence of subharmon ic solutions of the second order Hamiltonian system -(x) double over dot = V-x(t, x) is considered, where the potential V is subquadratic in x as \x\ goes to infinity and can change Sign with respect to t.
