Vi. Barysheva et al., Spatiotemporal variations of the ultraviolet upward radiation of background formations in the Earth-atmosphere system, J OPT TECH, 67(3), 2000, pp. 225-228
The results of measurements of the spatiotemporal variations of the anabati
c UV radiation of background formations in the Earth-atmosphere system are
discussed. The data were obtained during nadir observations on board the ar
tificial Earth satellite Meteor-3 using the BUFS-1 on-board UV spectrometer
. The mean values obtained as a result of a statistical treatment of the ra
w data and the densities of the log-normal probability distributions of the
spectral radiance of the background radiation of the cloudless atmosphere,
low cirrus clouds, and high cirrus clouds are considered. (C) 2000 The Opt
