Abstract
The involutive automorphisms of affine Kac-Moody superalgebras are computed from Satake superdiagrams corresponding to these algebras. These are then used to furnish a general treatment of the Iwasawa decomposition of these a lgebras. In particular, we consider A((1))(0, 1) and B-(1)(1, 1) as represe ntative examples for the purpose of illustration.
