The optima conditions to electrosynthesize poly(2,3-diaminophenol) by elect
ro-oxdation of the monomer were determined, and the electrodeposits obtaine
d characterized by electrochemical methods, UV-vis, FTIR, conductivity and
viscosity measurements. The influence of parameters such as electrolytical
medium and electrochemical conditions on the electro-oxidation of 2,3-diami
nophenol were also investigated. It has been established that appropriate d
eposits are obtained only when very anhydrous acetonitrile is used as solve
