Abstract
Full-scale acoustic experiments on a TGV are performed with on-board measur ement techniques. Some spectral characteristics of the intercoach spacing a nd the bogie region are highlighted and interpreted. Two measurement techni ques are described; they both extract the acoustical information of a parti cular aerodynamic source from the signal given by a flow imbedded probe. (C ) 2000 Academic Press.
